WASHINGTON, Jan. 15, 2014 – The U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) has reopened and extended the comment period for the proposed Hardwood Lumber and Hardwood Plywood Promotion, Research and Information Order. The 30 -day extension allows additional time for industry stakeholders and others to review the proposal and provide feedback.
Notice of this extension will be published in the Jan. 16, 2014, Federal Register. Comments must be received by Feb. 18, 2014.
