The U.S. Department of Agriculture today announced the appointment of three members to serve on the Mushroom Council. The appointees will serve three-year terms from Jan. 1, 2022, to Dec. 31, 2024.

The U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) today announced plans to purchase Great Northern Beans for distribution to various food nutrition assistance programs. Purchases will be made under the authority of Section 32 of the Act of August 24, 1935, with the purpose to encourage the continued domestic consumption of these products by diverting them from the normal channels of trade and commerce.  

The Grain Inspection Advisory Committee fall meeting takes place Dec. 15-16, 2021 from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Eastern Time. The advisory committee will transmit exclusively via webcast.
