This table summarizes the approval status of State and Tribal hemp production plans. Once a plan is formally submitted, USDA has 60 days to approve or disapprove the plan. Once a plan is approved by USDA, it remains in effect unless withdrawn by the State or Tribal government or revoked by USDA pursuant to the procedures described in the Final Rule. If the State or Tribe makes substantive revisions to its plan or its laws which alter the way the hemp plan functions, the State or Tribal government must re-submit the revised plan for USDA approval. Hemp Plans may be updated with USDA at any time.
