On March 9, 2020, the U.S. Department of Agriculture’s (USDA) Agricultural Marketing Service (AMS) announced the availability of grant funding to support local and regional food markets and enterprises, value-added agricultural products, marketing, transporting and distributing U.S. agricultural products and the maple syrup industry.
AMS will host webinars to help farmers, producer groups and other applicants to understand the application process, overview of program purpose, eligibility, and basic requirements for the submission of an applications. The goal of the presentation is to provide information on how to use the Grants.gov website to apply for AMS grant programs. Topics covered in the presentation include how to register in Dun & Bradstreet, track a submitted application, find (search) for funding opportunities and apply for those opportunities.
