The following participating State departments of agriculture are the only entities that can apply directly to AMS for SCMP funds. Their responsibilities include accepting proposals from multi-state partners; screening proposals to ensure they are complete and meet the basic requirements outlined the 2015 SCMP Request for Applications; and submitting proposals to AMS via www.grants.gov by the 11:59 PM Eastern time, January 14, 2016, deadline. Participating State departments of agriculture will assume administrative responsibility for any application they submit that is selected for funding. As the award recipients, they will establish subgrants and/or contracts with the multi-state partners to complete the project.
The deadline for multi-state partners to submit proposals to participating State departments of agriculture is 11:59 PM Eastern time on December 15, 2015. Please see Instructions for Preparing and Submitting SCMP Applications (pdf) for important new information. We encourage multi-state partners to select a participating State department of agriculture soon and contact them to receive timely updates on the SCMP application process in the coming weeks. Applicants must select one participating State department of agriculture to work with. Multiple submissions of the same application are not allowed.
