Almond Producers Vote to Continue the Federal Marketing Order
The Almond Board of California administers the marketing order which authorizes implementation of research and promotion programs, quality requirements, and regulation of the flow of product to market.
Today, the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) announced that almond producers in California voted to continue their marketing order program in a referendum held Dec. 4-20, 2024.

USDA Seeks Nominees for the Kiwifruit Administrative Committee
The Kiwifruit Administrative Committee is a marketing order that provides the kiwifruit industry with the ability to recommend quality and marking, pack, and container regulations, as well as to establish a research and promotion program.
The U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) is seeking nominees for the committee to fill six member seats and their respective alternates for two-year terms beginning Aug. 1, 2025. Nominations will be accepted April 7 through 30, 2025.
