Upcoming Survey
The 2026 National Farmers Market Survey is now open, and is designed for market managers. Visit www.canr.msu.edu/national-farmers-market-management-survey/ to take the survey or share with your networks.
Now, in its second iteration, the National Farmers Market Survey returns on February 17, 2026, for another opportunity to better understand and support American farmers markets. In partnership with Michigan State University Extension, this survey aims to create clear profiles and benchmarks for farmers markets at the state, regional, and national levels—information that will help guide policy, resources, and program support.
The survey is designed with farmers market managers in mind, consisting of straightforward questions with no proprietary or sensitive data collected. The 2026 survey will be available at the MSU website.
