AMS Local Agricultural Market Program (LAMP) Stories & Tools

Overview

The AMS LAMP Navigator shows grants from years 2006-2020 of the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) Agricultural Marketing Service (AMS) Local Agriculture Market Program (LAMP). LAMP is an umbrella program that encompasses the Farmers Market Promotion Program (FMPP)Local Food Promotion Program (LFPP)Regional Food System Partnerships Program (RFSP), and Value-Added Producer Grants Program (VAPG). VAPG is not included in this map as it is administered by Rural Development at USDA. These data were obtained from the AMS Grants Division. The activity categories were self-selected by the grant recipients. Grant recipients without activity categories listed opted to not select categories for their project in their application.

Additionally, Seeds of Success is an AMS series that highlights the accomplishments and lessons learned from Farmers Market and Local Food Promotion Program (FMLFPP)  grant recipients. These story maps allow for successful processes and learning opportunities to be publicly shared. Learning from one another, we can build stronger local food systems across the nation.
