The Tribe is requesting $600,000.00 from the LFPA program to buy locally produced food items to be distributed in the underserved community of Flandreau, South Dakota.

The U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA), plans to conduct a Pre-Solicitation Call for Fresh Apples under the Authority of Section 32.

Offers will be solicited with the intent to issue a Direct Delivery Contract for the following materials:

In 2017, AMS hosted a series of stakeholder meetings for the three major livestock commodity groups - cattle and beef; swine and pork; and sheep, lamb, and imported lamb - to seek feedback on possible changes to improve the LMR market reporting program in advance of the next reauthorization of LMR.  AMS used the feedback from these meetings as the basis for a report to Congress to promote an orderly reauthorization of LMR in 2020 (Report to Congress, Livestock Mandatory Reporting, 2018 (pdf)).
