Commodity Credit Corporation (CCC) enters into Cotton Storage Agreements (CSA) with private individuals and companies to allow warehouse operators to store cotton owned by CCC or pledged as security to CCC for marketing assistance loans. Warehouse operators wanting a CSA are encouraged to review the regulations, guidelines, and agreement documents. To be approved to store CCC-owned or loan cotton, warehouse operators must:
- Submit an application (pdf) to the Storage Contract Branch, Kansas City Commodity Office (KCCO).
- Review the CSA New Application Letter (pdf)
- Review the CSA Successor's Agreement Letter (pdf)
- The warehouse tariff rate information is derived from the latest submission from individual cotton warehouse operators. The United States Department of Agriculture does not warrant the information in any way. Many public tariff rates are subject to other dependent clauses within the tariff document. It is strongly recommended that users of this information contact the individual warehouse to verify the rates, and obtain all of the terms and conditions within each public tariff.
