How to administer the FLSP Grant

Managing Your FLSP Grant:

FLSP has three payments in the life cycle of the grant. Grantees can request their first grant payment (50% of the full award) after KYRR completion.  Grantees can request second payment (25% of full award) after successful completion of their first full season/year of participation in FLSP. Grantees can request third/final payment (25% of full award) after successful completion of two seasons/years of participation in FLSP. Each payment is processed after grantees complete required milestones (see below) and submit the required documentation and a payment request to USDA.

FSLP Terms and Conditions

The terms and conditions document below contains all the requirements of the program in detail that you must comply with as part of your FLSP participation and to be eligible to receive funds. Additionally, you must follow through on the commitments made as part of your application to this program and all requirements in the FLSP Notice of Funding Opportunity.  

Payment Milestones: 

Once you have completed the requirements for each round of payment, according to the terms and conditions in your award agreement, you must complete and submit the following documentation:

*Downloading and submitting the FLSP (Interim and Final) Progress Report

You must keep the Progress Report in its original dynamic (fillable) PDF format – that's the format that has those blue fillable boxes.  Do NOT flatten, save to print, or scan the document. 

  • Downloading the Form – The PDF form must be downloaded and saved to your local computer or network – and then accessed through Adobe Reader. It will not open directly in the browser. You must download the form first and then open it via Adobe.
    • NOTE: You may need to visit the Adobe Software Compatibility to download the appropriate version of the software. There is no cost for Adobe Reader Software.
  • Submitting the Form – When submitting the form, please submit the fillable (dynamic) PDF format (format that has those blue fillable boxes). Do not submit a flattened, “printed to PDF,”  or scanned version of the original fillable form.
  • Using a Fillable (dynamic) PDF Form – A fillable (dynamic) reporting PDF form can be filled out using dynamic functions that include: expanding space for text responses, ability to bold and underline text by right clicking and selecting font option, ability to add and remove rows using the “+” and “-“ buttons, and auto-calculations based on users inputs in form fields.
