Prerequisites
All Policy and General Procedures Requirements listed in General Export Certification must be met in addition to the procedures listed in this document.
PURPOSE
This instruction outlines specific certification requirements for shell eggs as prescribed by the Singapore Food Agency.
GENERAL PROCEDURES
Packing Case Labeling
- When shipping loose flats of eggs in cases:
Each case must be sealed and identified with the official plant name and plant number.
- When shipping eggs in consumer labeled cartons:
Either condition A or B must be met:
a) Each individual egg must be legibly stamped with the origin facility’s plant number, or;
b) Each carton must be individually sealed and marked with the origin facility’s plant number.
Certification
The following information must be included in the Remarks section:
- The statement “Product of the USA”
- Shipping container sealed with Seal Number: _______________
