USDA Seeks Nominees for the United Soybean Board

The U.S. Department of Agriculture’s (USDA) Agricultural Marketing Service (AMS) is seeking nominees for the United Soybean Board for 22 members and three alternates with terms that expire in December 2026. The nominees will represent the following states and regions.

Member Seats:
- Alabama, Arkansas, Delaware, Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Kentucky, Maryland, Michigan, Minnesota, Mississippi, Missouri, Nebraska, Ohio, South Carolina, North Dakota, South Dakota, Tennessee, Texas, and Virginia.

USDA Seeks Nominees for the Kiwifruit Administrative Committee

The U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) is seeking nominees for the Kiwifruit Administrative Committee to fill seats for six members and six alternates. Two seats will be appointed for one-year terms, and ten seats will be appointed for two-year terms, all beginning Aug. 1, 2026. Nominations for all positions must be submitted to the Kiwifruit Administrative Committee postmarked no later than April 24, 2026.

Walla Walla Sweet Onion Producers Vote to Continue the Federal Marketing Order

The U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) today announced that Walla Walla sweet onion producers voted to continue their marketing order program.


In a referendum held Jan. 12-30, 2026, 100% of voting Walla Walla sweet onion producers favored continuance of the marketing order program, representing 100% of the production volume voted in the referendum. For the marketing order to continue, a majority of producers voting, or producers representing a majority of the volume, needed to vote in favor of continuance.

USDA Launches National Feeder and Stocker Cattle Dashboard

The U.S. Department of Agriculture’s (USDA) Agricultural Marketing Service (AMS) today launched the National Feeder and Stocker Cattle dashboard. This is the fourth launch of a new dashboard as part of ongoing efforts to make USDA’s Market News information more user-friendly. Farmers and ranchers now have instant access to dynamic, visualized data, with price movements, volume changes, and market comparisons all in an easy-to-read format.

USDA Announces Appointments to the National Potato Promotion Board

The U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) today announced the appointment of 24 members to serve on the National Potato Promotion Board, effective immediately. Twenty producer members will serve three-year terms ending Feb. 28, 2029, and four producer members will serve two-year terms ending Feb. 28, 2028.

USDA Announces Appointments to the National Dairy Promotion and Research Board

The U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) today announced the appointment of thirteen members to serve on the National Dairy Promotion and Research Board. Twelve members will serve three-year terms effective immediately through Oct. 31, 2028. One member will serve the remainder of a vacant term, effective immediately and ending Oct. 31, 2026.

USDA Announces Appointments to the Hass Avocado Board

The U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) today announced the appointment of six members to the Hass Avocado Board. Appointed are two producer members, one producer alternate, one importer member, and one importer alternate to fill three-year terms expiring on Oct. 31, 2028. Additionally, one producer alternate is appointed to fill a previously vacant seat whose term expires on Oct. 31, 2026.
