Menominee Indian Tribe of Wisconsin Executive Summary

The Menominee Nation will coordinate the procurement of indigenous foods on behalf of the Oneida Nation, Red Cliff Band of Lake Superior Chippewa, Stockbridge-Munsee Band of Mohican Indians, Ho-Chunk Nation, Forest County Potawatomi, Sokaogon Chippewa Community, Bad River Band of Lake Superior Chippewa, and the Gerald L. Ignace Indian Health Center for the Tribal Elder Food Box Program (TEFBP). Each respective Tribe will coordinate its own distribution efforts and will make additional direct purchases for additional community distribution.

AMS Announces 2023 Grain Fees under the United States Grain Standards Act

The U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) Agricultural Marketing Service (AMS) today announced the 2023 fee schedule for official inspection and weighing services, supervision of official inspection and weighing services, and miscellaneous fees for other services performed under the U.S. Grain Standards Act.

Federal Grain Inspection Service (FGIS) is required to annually review its fees for service, including national and local tonnage, and supervision tonnage fees.

Reserve Seed Collection

The Reserve Seed Collection contains more than 600 different species of agricultural, vegetable, tree, and flower seeds that are available from the Seed Regulatory and Testing Division to compliment other seed testing laboratories’ seed herbariums or for addition to seed analysts’ individual collections.
