Agricultural marketing includes the full lifecycle of a commodity, from growing and harvesting, grading, packaging, transportation, preparation for use, storage, shifting and sharing risks, change in ownership, pricing and exchange, wholesaling and retailing.
Agricultural Commodity Graders analyze and certify the quality and/or condition of agricultural products against official standards and related regulations. Grading and inspections are different for every agricultural commodity because of the many differences in products, production and processing methods, and marketing practices done to support each commodity.

The U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) today announced plans to purchase Pork Loin Roast for distribution to various food nutrition assistance programs. Purchases will be made under the authority of Section 32 of the Act of August 24, 1935, with the purpose to encourage the continued domestic consumption of these products by diverting them from the normal channels of trade and commerce.
