Summary

In accordance with the Paperwork Reduction Act of 1995, this notice announces the Agricultural Marketing Service's (AMS) intention to request approval of a new collection, entitled: Agritourism Directory, from the Office of Management and Budget. Upon approval, we request that this collection be merged into OMB 0581-0169, Local Food Directories and Survey, which was approved January 29, 2020.

Application Fees

The total cost of protection is $5,150.

This price includes $4,382 for the application and examination and $768 for the certificate fee. These fees are subject to change. A complete list of itemized fees is provided on the back of this sheet or on our website.

Without explicit consent from the owner, a person is prohibited from:

• exposing the variety for sale

Germplasm Types

The germplasm sample serves as a voucher specimen for PVPO's use should a question ever arise about the validity of the description.

Seed Samples: Samples are sent to the National Laboratory for Genetic Resources Preservation (NLGRP) in Fort Collins, Colorado. The memorandum of understanding between PVPO and NLGRP states that these seed samples will be kept separate from the NLGRP general collection during the term of protection.

Examination

The examination of the new variety is started after the ST-470 and Exhibit forms are reviewed for completeness and fees are processed.
