AMS Solicits Nominations for Members of the USDA Grain Inspection Advisory Committee

The U.S. Department of Agriculture’s (USDA) Agricultural Marketing Service (AMS) seeks nominations for individuals to serve on the USDA Grain Inspection Advisory Committee. USDA is seeking individuals who represent grain producers, processors, merchandisers, handlers, exporters, consumers, grain inspection agencies, or scientists.

 

Fair and Competitive Livestock and Poultry Markets Proposed Rule Publishes in the Federal Register; Comment Period Open through August 27

The U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) Agricultural Marketing Service (AMS) formally published the proposed rule, Fair and Competitive Livestock and Poultry Markets, in the Federal Register June 28. The public may submit comments until August 27 at regulations.gov.
