The U.S. Department of Agriculture today announced the appointment of five members to serve on the Agricultural Marketing Service (AMS) Grain Inspection Advisory Committee beginning April 1, 2024.
Members appointed for a 3-year term include:
- Carlos A. Campabadal, Ph.D., Instructor, Kansas State University, Manhattan, Kan.
- Erin E. Casey-Campbell, Program Manager, Missouri Department of Agriculture, Jefferson City, Mo.
- Rashad A. Hart, General Superintendent of Plant Operations, Cargill, Inc, Westwego, La.
- Tracy D. Logan, Director of Export Documentation, United Grain Corporation, Vancouver, Wash.
- Erica K. Olson, Market Development & Research Manager, North Dakota Wheat Commission, West Fargo, N.D.
Established under the U.S. Grain Standards Act on Sept. 29, 1981, the advisory committee represents the interests of all segments of the U.S. grain industry from producer to exporter. The committee is comprised of 15 members representing grain processors, merchandisers, handlers, exporters, consumers, grain inspection agencies and scientists.
AMS seeks nominations annually via announcements in the Federal Register and news releases to industry, trade, academia, community and faith-based organizations.
