The Grain Inspection Advisory Committee fall meeting takes place Dec. 15-16, 2021 from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Eastern Time. The advisory committee will transmit exclusively via webcast.
The agenda includes Federal Grain Inspection Service (FGIS) program updates and agricultural transportation data analysis. Discussions topics cover average inspections flexibilities, the FGIS Inspection Technology Evaluation Process, and the development of pre-approved reconditioning procedures for actionable lots identified under a memorandum of understanding between FGIS and the Food and Drug Administration.
