The Agricultural Marketing Service (AMS) Grain Inspection Advisory Committee conducts its Spring meeting June 22, 2022, from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. central time and June 23, 2022, from 8:30 a.m. to noon central time. The meeting will be held in person, at the AMS National Grain Center, 10383 N. Ambassador Drive, Kansas City, Missouri 64153, and virtually. The agenda includes updates on previous advisory committee recommendations, general program updates, and discussions about soybeans of other colors; real-time shuttle train data; Grain Inspection Advisory Committee alternates; the Federal Grain Inspection Service (FGIS) /Food and Drug Administration memorandum of understanding on development of pre-approved reconditioning procedures for actionable lots; and the FGIS technology review process.
