AMS Announces Grain Export Registration Renewal Information

The U.S. Department of Agriculture, Agricultural Marketing Service (AMS) announces grain export registration renewal information for annual application authorized by the United States Grain Standards Act (USGSA).

With this publication, AMS provides notice of annual requirements for renewing the Application for Registration authorized by the USGSA. The USGSA regulations specify all persons engaged in the business of buying grain for sale in foreign commerce and in the business of handling, weighing, or transporting grain for sale in foreign commerce in excess of 15,000 metric tons during the preceding or current calendar year must register annually.

Interested parties are highly encouraged to submit applications electronically to avoid processing delays by mail.

Applicants processing applications electronically should use pay.gov for payment and follow directions listed on https://www.ams.usda.gov/services/fgis/ddr-export-registration-instructions.
