Approved Equipment

Equipment Approved for use in the Official Inspection System must meet the requirements, as prescribed, in Title 7 of the Code of Federal Regulations (CFR), Parts 800 and 801 under the U.S. Grain Standards Act and/or in Title 7 of the CFR, Part 868 under the Agricultural Marketing Act. FGIS maintains lists of officially approved equipment. The following lists are current and up to date as of: (08/31/2017)

Combined Equipment List (pdf)

A list of all officially approved equipment for use within the Official Inspection System manufactured currently and no longer manufactured.

Active Equipment List (pdf)

Equipment that is currently manufactured and readily available for purchase commercially.

Inactive Equipment List (pdf)

No longer manufactured or readily available for purchase, but still approved for official use.
