  • Quality Regulations:  The marketing order authorizes grade, quality, maturity, and size regulations to maintain potato quality shipped to consumers.
  • Markings, pack, and container regulations:  The marketing order authorizes regulations on the marking or labeling, size, capacity, and weight of the containers used to ship potatoes to market.
Committee StructureThe Washington Potato Committee administers the order locally and consists of six producers, three handlers and their alternates. Committee membership is apportioned among the three districts within the production area. Members serve 3-year, staggered terms of office that begin July 1.
