The U.S. Department of Agriculture’s (USDA) Agricultural Marketing Service (AMS) has updated the certification requirements for commodity egg products, including whole eggs and all-purpose egg mix. Beginning in May 2022, USDA’s Food Safety and Inspection Service (FSIS) will no longer certify AMS commodity egg products.
The U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) today announced plans to purchase Livestock, Poultry and Dairy Products for distribution to schools nationwide. Purchases will be made under the authority of Section 5 of the Commodity Credit Corporation (CCC) Charter Act.
