The U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) today announced the appointment of three producers and three industry representatives to serve on the Peanut Standards Board.
The following appointees will serve three-year terms beginning immediately and ending June 30, 2022:
Southeast Region (Alabama, Georgia and Florida)

- John T. Gray III, Williston Peanut Co., Williston, Fla. (Industry representative)
Southwest Region (Texas, Oklahoma and New Mexico)
USDA Salmon Products Purchase Program Announced
The U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) today announced plans to purchase salmon products for distribution to various food nutrition assistance programs. Purchases will be made under the authority of Section 32 of the Act of August 24, 1935, with the purpose to encourage the continued domestic consumption of these products by diverting them from the normal channels of trade and commerce.
