LFPA Executive Summary - South Dakota
The South Dakota Department of Agriculture and Natural Resources (DANR) will partner with Feeding South Dakota to procure and deliver locally grown foods from local producers to underserved communities statewide. This project will connect South Dakota’s farmers and ranchers, including disadvantaged producers, to more opportunities to deliver their products to local markets through Feeding South Dakota’s extensive network of food assistance partners.
USDA Announces National Pork Board Appointments
The U.S. Department of Agriculture today announced the appointment of six members to the National Pork Board. Five appointees will serve three-year terms beginning June 2022 and ending June 2025, and one appointee will serve a one-year term from June 2022 through June 2023.

Pre-Solicitation Announcement for Section 32 Purchase of Almonds
The U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) today announced plans to purchase almonds for distribution to various food nutrition assistance programs. Purchases will be made under the authority of Section 32 of the Act of August 24, 1935, to encourage the continued domestic consumption of these products by diverting them from the normal channels of trade and commerce.

Summary
This final rule amends Marketing Order No. 925, which regulates the handling of grapes grown in a designated area of southeastern California. The amendments change the California Desert Grape Administrative Committee's (Committee) size, and its quorum and voting requirements.
