Connecting with Organizations that Provide Outreach and Assistance to Socially Disadvantaged Farmers and Ranchers

The purpose of the Local Food Purchase Assistance (LFPA) program is to help maintain and improve food and agricultural supply chain resiliency. The LFPA requires States and Tribal governments to target purchases from socially disadvantaged farmers and ranchers (SDFRs). This map identifies organizations (2501 Program grantees) that provide outreach, training, and technical assistance to SDFRs. The organizations linked below can serve as a resource to help State and Tribal governments connect and build partnerships with SDFRs in their state/region.
