The U.S. Department of Agriculture today announced the appointment of 31 individuals to serve on the National Potato Promotion Board. The appointees will serve three-year terms from Jan. 1, 2021, through Dec. 31, 2023.

The U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) today announced the establishment of the Pecan Promotion, Research and Information Order to strengthen the position of pecans in the marketplace, maintain and expand markets for pecans, and develop new uses for pecans. A final rule was published in the Federal Register on Jan. 13, 2021, with an effective date of Feb. 12, 2021. Assessment collection will begin Oct. 1, 2021.

The U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) today announced the appointment of nine members and nine alternates to serve on the American Egg Board. The appointees will serve two-year terms beginning March 2021 and ending March 2023.

The U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) Agricultural Marketing Service (AMS) today announced the 2021 fee schedule for official inspection and weighing services performed under the United States Grain Standards Act (USGSA), as amended.

The Federal Grain Regulations (7 CFR 800.71(b)) and the Agriculture Reauthorizations Act of 2015 require that the Federal Grain Inspection Service (FGIS) annually review its fees for service, including national and local tonnage fees.

The U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) Agricultural Marketing Service (AMS) is seeking nominations for the National Mango Board to fill seats for six members whose terms expire Dec. 31, 2021.
