The Kiwifruit Administrative Committee is a marketing order that provides the kiwifruit industry with the ability to recommend quality and marking, pack, and container regulations, as well as to establish a research and promotion program.
The U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) is seeking nominees for the committee to fill six member seats and their respective alternates for two-year terms beginning Aug. 1, 2025. Nominations will be accepted April 7 through 30, 2025.
The Kiwifruit Administrative Committee is seeking nominees for three grower member seats and their alternates from each of the following regions:
- District 1: California- Butte, Sutter, and Yuba counties
- District 2: California- Tulare County

The committee administers the order locally and consists of twelve members and alternates. Eleven members are growers and one is a public member. Each member has an alternate. More information about the committee is available on the Agricultural Marketing Service (AMS) 920 Kiwifruit webpage.
Authorized by the Agricultural Marketing Agreement Act of 1937, marketing orders are industry-driven programs that help producers and handlers achieve marketing success by using their own funds to design and execute programs that they would not be able to do individually. AMS provides oversight to fruit, vegetable, and specialty crop marketing orders and agreements to help ensure fiscal accountability and program integrity.
