Coriander Inspection Instructions

There are no U.S. grade standards for Coriander. These instructions have been developed by the Fresh Products Branch to assist officially licensed inspectors in making inspections, writing certificates and to assist in the proper identification of specialty type fruits and vegetables.

Coriander (Cilantro, Mexican Parsley, Chinese Parsley) A Mediterranean native, this plant is an annual herb more commonly known as Chinese or Mexican parsley. The green leaves resemble domestic parsley. It is widely used by Orientals and Latin Americans.
