The Fruit and Vegetable Industry Advisory Committee (FVIAC) typically meets twice per year in the Washington, DC region. During meetings, the FVIAC discusses its agenda items, hears scheduled presentations, reviews working group reports, listens to public comments, and then votes in a public forum. The meeting is open to the interested public who are welcome to observe the proceedings. There is time designated for general comments by observers. Formal presentations must be submitted (10) days prior to the meeting for review and approval, as noted in the Federal Register notice and/or trade notifications and news release previously posted and distributed (15) days prior to the meeting.
