Date
November 14, 2022

The U.S. Department of Agriculture’s (USDA) Agricultural Marketing Service (AMS) recently published a request for public comment in the Federal Register seeking public input from small businesses, those owned by underserved businesses, and providers of organic, kosher, and halal agricultural products on perceived barriers to the USDA Foods Program.

AMS is seeking the comments to inform them on how its Commodity Procurement Program (CPP) can bring onboard new vendors. Changes may be made to CPP’s commodity contracting programs as a result of the comments received.

Participants will have until 11:59 p.m. ET, Tuesday, Dec. 27, to submit comments. This notice is also posted on the System for Award Management website.
