Greg is General Manager of the Jacksonville Farmers Market (JFM). Greg has spent most of his career working in the agricultural and environmental engineering fields that includes nearly twenty years as a manager in the retail and wholesale food business. Greg comes from a family spanning back more than six generations in Duval County. Greg’s involvement in industry and community includes being a member of the National Association of Produce Market Managers (NAPMM) serving on the Board of Directors from 2016-2018 as well as being named 2017 Market Manager of the Year by the NAPMM, Past President of the Northside Business Leaders Association in Jacksonville, Chairman of the Jacksonville–Duval Agricultural Council, a member of the Jacksonville Agricultural Fair Association, is Vice-Chair of the Jacksonville International Airport – Community Redevelopment Agency (JIA-CRA), member the Duval County 4H Board and is President of the Duval County Farm Bureau Board of Directors. He also currently serves on the Florida Farm Bureau’s state Fruit and Vegetable Advisory Committee. He meets often with community groups and organizations to participate in discussions promoting healthy eating and access to food. Greg also meets with local, state and federal officials concerning community issues. Greg has been married to his lovely bride, Joy, for 30 years. He and his wife have two grown children and five grandchildren.
