The U.S. Department of Agriculture’s (USDA) Food Disclosure and Labeling Division (FDLD) will hold an informational webinar on the National Bioengineered Food Disclosure Standard (the Standard).
The webinar is meant to help regulated entities, including food manufacturers, importers, and certain retailers, comply with the Standard before the mandatory compliance date of January 1, 2022.
The webinar will be held on Tuesday December 1, 2020, from 2:00 p.m. – 3:00 p.m. ET and will provide an overview of the Standard including bioengineered food disclosure options and guidance on compliance and enforcement.
How to Participate:
The webinar will be held via ZOOM, which provides a one-direction broadcast. Participants will not be able to present their own video or use their microphones during the live webinar.
Participants will not be able to submit live questions during the webinar but are encouraged to submit questions in advance to the BE email inbox (befooddisclosure@usda.gov).
