USDA Ham Products Purchase Program Announced

The U.S. Department of Agriculture today announced plans to purchase smoked pit ham products for the Food Distribution Program on Indian Reservations (FPDIR) and other Federal food nutrition assistance programs.

A solicitation will be issued in the near future.  All offers must be submitted electronically through the Web-Based Supply Chain Management (WBSCM) website at http://www.usda.gov/wps/portal/usda/usdahome?navid=WBSCM. Offers submitted by any means other than WBSCM will be considered non-responsive.

Offerors are urged to review all documents as they pertain to this program, including the AMS Master Solicitation for Commodity Procurements dated April 2017; the applicable Commodity Specification(s) identified in the subsequent Solicitation(s) and the Qualification Requirements for Prospective Vendors dated March 2017. These documents are available on the AMS Commodity Procurement website at www.ams.usda.gov/selling-food.
