USDA Announces Designations to Perform Official Grain Inspection Services in South Carolina

The U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) Agricultural Marketing Service announces the designations of D.R. Schaal Agency, Inc. (Schaal) and the North Carolina Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services (NCDA) to perform official inspection services under the U.S. Grain Standards Act in the state of South Carolina.

Through September 30, 2021, Schaal will provide official services in Abbeville, Aiken, Allendale, Anderson, Bamberg, Barnwell, Beaufort, Berkeley, Calhoun, Charleston, Clarendon, Colleton, Dorchester, Edgefield, Fairfield, Georgetown, Greenwood, Hampton, Jasper, Laurens, Lexington, McCormick, Newberry, Oconee, Orangeburg, Richland, Saluda, Sumter and Williamsburg Counties.

NCDA will provide official services in Cherokee, Chester, Chesterfield, Darlington, Dillon, Florence, Greenville, Horry, Kershaw, Lancaster, Lee, Marion, Marlboro, Pickens, Spartanburg, Union and York Counties.
