The U.S. Department of Agriculture, Agricultural Marketing Service (AMS) is announcing the designation of Mid-Iowa Grain Inspection, Inc. (Mid-Iowa), to provide official services under the United States Grain Standards Act (USGSA).
AMS evaluated each application against the designation criteria in section 7(f) of the USGSA (7 U.S.C. 79(f)) and determined that Mid-Iowa is most proficient to deliver official services in the geographic area specified in the Federal Register on February 10, 2020. The designation is effective July 1, 2020, to June 30, 2023.
