The Poultry LVP is managed on a yearly basis. To maintain program status, laboratories will only test for those residue groups for which they have been approved. Laboratories possessing ISO 17025 certifications may test several infrequently used antibiotics, according to the USDA FSIS “Export Requirements for Russia.” Laboratories testing Salmonella, Listeria monocytogenes and Total Plate Count must continue the participation in a proficiency test program and have a satisfactory analytical result. Laboratories testing chemical residuals need to verify the relevant analytical methods and procedures annually. The verification reports are sent to the Program Manager at the following address:
