Jay Feldman

As co-founder, Beyond Pesticides/National Coalition Against the Misuse of Pesticides (NCAMP), Jay Feldman is responsible for providing policy direction and overall coordination of activities to control pesticides and promote non-chemical alternatives for the organic community. Jay also writes and edits the quarterly newsletter and conducts National Pesticide Forums annually.
Prior to co-founding Beyond Pesticides, Jay served as the Director for Health Programs, Rural America in Washington D.C. for five years.
Jay holds a Masters degree in Urban and Regional Planning from the Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University in Blacksburg, Virginia. Jay also holds a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science from Grinnell College, Grinnell, Iowa.
Jay is a member of the National Organic Coalition, National Pesticide Reform Coalition, Center for Food Safety, Organic Consumer Association, and Healthy Child Healthy World. Jay has also served on the Board of Directors for Earth Share since 1990.
