USDA Settles a Case with Stockland Livestock Auction Inc. Resulting in a $1,925 Penalty

WASHINGTON, Sept. 21, 2018 – On July 13, 2018, Stockland Livestock Auction Inc. (Stockland), Spokane, Wash., waived its right to a hearing, entered into a stipulation agreement with the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA), and paid a penalty of $1,925 for alleged violations of the Packers and Stockyards (P&S) Act.

(SE Mississippi), Hattiesburg, Miss., for alleged violations of the Packers and Stockyards Act (Act).

WASHINGTON, Sept. 4, 2018 – On June 26, 2018, the U.S. Department of Agriculture, Agriculture Marketing Services (AMS) filed an administrative complaint against S & S Buying, Inc. and Troy Siebels, Stamford, Nebraska, for alleged violations of the Packers and Stockyards Act (P&S Act).

USDA Settles a Case with Casey Wilmot Resulting in $2,375 Penalty

WASHINGTON, Aug. 27, 2018 – On July 11, 2018, Casey Wilmot entered into a stipulation agreement with the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA), Agricultural Marketing Service (AMS), Fair Trade Practices Program (FTPP) for allegedly operating after his bond terminated in violation of the Packers and Stockyards (P&S) Act. At that time, Wilmot paid a penalty of $2,375.  On July 20, 2018, Wilmot provided proof of proper bond coverage.
