Ms. Oakley is a Founding Partner and co-owner of Three Springs Farm in Oaks, Oklahoma. Three Springs Farm is a 20-acre certified organic vegetable farm, first certified in January 2007, which markets direct-to-consumer through farmer’s markets and a large Community Supported Agriculture program.
Emily has significant experience with international agriculture, having served as a Farmer to Farmer Volunteer Consultant in Nicaragua, Dominican Republic, Haiti, Guatemala, Nigeria, and Ghana. She has been a board member for various organizations, including the National Young Farmers Coalition, and has been featured in numerous publications such as Growing for Market, Acres USA, and Small Farmer’s Journal.
Emily received her Bachelor of Arts in Interdisciplinary Studies, with an area of emphasis in Sustainable Agricultural Development, from Long Island University and her Master of Science in International Agriculture Development from the University of California, Davis.
