The Grain Inspection Advisory Committee under its current rules of order utilizes a 3 year term with 5 members rotating off each term. The nomination process closes in September with a varied approval time frame.

The Grain Inspection Advisory Committee under its current rules of order must have a 2/3 majority of the committee in attendance and/or under approval of nomination in order to hold official business meetings
Today, the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) Agricultural Marketing Service (AMS) announced the Grain Inspection Advisory Committee 2024 summer meeting will take place May 15-16 in Kansas City, Missouri, beginning at 8:30 a.m. each day. Participation can be virtual or in person.
