USDA Modifies Kiwifruit Federal Marketing Order
The U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) announced today it has modified the handling regulations prescribed under the federal marketing order for kiwifruit grown in California. This action will revise the size and uniformity requirements for all varieties of the Actinidia chinensis species of kiwifruit regulated under the marketing order.
USDA Announces Appointments to the Cattlemen’s Beef Promotion and Research Board
The U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) today announced the appointment of 40 members to serve on the Cattlemen’s Beef Promotion and Research Board. Thirty-nine members will serve three-year terms and one member will serve a one-year term. The term of board members appointed to three-year terms start February 2023 and end February 2026.

Pre-Solicitation Announcement for Section 32 Purchase of Catfish Products
The U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) today announced plans to purchase Catfish Products for distribution to various food nutrition assistance programs. Purchases will be made under the authority of Section 32 of the Act of August 24, 1935, with the purpose to encourage the continued domestic consumption of these products by diverting them from the normal channels of trade and commerce.
