Demand was moderate. Bulk of the hay offered graded Good quality alfalfa and grass/alfalfa mix. Fairly good demand noted for cow hay while dairy quality hay was scarce. Large round bales were net wrapped. Consigned hay was from eastern and central Wyoming and the Nebraska Panhandle. This hay auction was a one day timed offering where all buyers could bid on the internet. All sales were FOB the farm or ranch. Hay sold by the ton in semi-load lots on line. All hay has been tested with results available for each lot. Next internet hay auction is scheduled for Thursday, October 27, 2016.
