Cattle Receipts:  88             Two weeks ago:  85        Last Year: 67 

Compared to two weeks ago, too few head to establish a trend.  Light demand with 
moderate buyer activity and offerings. Quality of cattle plain to average.

Slaughter cows made up 27 percent of the offering, slaughter bulls 7 percent, 
replacement cows 5 percent, other cows 2 percent, and feeders 60 percent.  The feeder 
supply included 19 percent steers, 53 percent heifers, and 28 percent bulls. Near 6 
percent of the run weighed over 600 lbs. (Figures in parentheses are weighted average 
weights and prices for each category)

   Feeder Steers: Small 1-2 305-335 lbs (320) 107.00-109.00 (108.05).  Medium 2 330-
335 lbs (333) 122.00-140.00 (131.07).  Holstein Large 3 265-265 lbs (265) 55.00 
(55.00). 

   Feeder Heifers: Small 1-2 375-395 lbs fleshy (385) 95.00-97.00 (96.03); 355-370 
lbs full (362) 80.00-100.00 (92.46); 450-475 lbs full (463) 90.00-96.00 (92.92); 505-
525 lbs full (515) 87.00-100.00 (93.37); 560-590 lbs full (570) 80.00-92.00 (87.42).

   Feeder Bulls: Medium and Large 1-2 480-485 lbs (483) 136.00-137.00 (136.33).

   Slaughter Cows: Breaker 70-80 percent lean 1655-1680 lbs (1668) 47.00-50.00 
(48.51).  Boner 80-85 percent lean 1205-1265 lbs (1235) 48.50-54.00 (51.18); 1415-
1555 lbs (1485) 55.00 (55.00).  Lean 85-90 percent lean 855-1145 lbs (1003) 35.00-
44.00 (39.55); 1020-1145 lbs low dressing (1084) 22.00-28.00 (24.67). 

   Slaughter Bulls: Yield Grade 1-2 1665-1715 lbs (1690) 70.50-71.50 (70.99).
