Retail cheese sales are moderate. Several retailers are receiving a steady amount of supplies each week. The foodservice sector continues to bear a softer tone. Numerous restaurants continue to work through shifting operating options. Cheese spot prices are currently mixed. On the CME Group, cheddar block and barrel prices have shifted slightly downwards. Cheese markets are unsettled. In the Northeast, the wholesale cheese prices for both cheddar and Muenster increased $0.1325. In addition, the process cheese price is up $0.0100. The Grade A Swiss price is steady this week.
