     European whole milk powder (WMP) prices moved higher. Industry contacts suggest that WMP
     markets are largely stable. Demand is calm within Europe and in international markets.
     Market observers note that buyer activity has subsided somewhat due to recent price rises.
     Manufacturers are making WMP to fill current obligations and maintain inventory levels.
     Production is steady to slower as milk output is seasonally declining and prices for milk
     and cream remain supported.
