MD_DA105 Dry Whey - Western Europe Report 11 - Released on March 16, 2023 The European whey price range expanded, moving lower at the bottom of the range and up at the top. Demand is mixed, giving the market a bit of an uneven feel between supply and demand. Industry sources suggest that while dry whey supplies are generally plentiful, in some higher value markets, small bumps in demand and tighter supplies have lifted prices somewhat. With plenty of milk moving into cheese production and ample amounts of whey concentrate, dry whey production is active. The market tone for dry whey is unsettled.
