SHELL EGGS: Daily National Egg Market-at-a-Glance 


New York eggs are up 8 cents for Extra Large and Large and unchanged 
for Medium.  California and regional eggs are steady.  The undertone 
is firm to higher for larger sizes.  Asking prices for next week's 
deliveries are trending higher for larger sizes and unchanged to 
higher for Medium and Small.  Retail demand is moderate to good, 
while foodservice demand is light to moderate.  Offerings are light.  
Supplies are light to moderate.  Market activity is moderate to active.  
Breaking stock supplies are light to moderate; breaking schedules are 
normal.  Light type fowl supplies are moderate to instances heavy for 
the light and unaggressive demand.
