USDA Farmers Market, 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.

The outdoor market, located just off the National Mall at Independence Avenue and 12th Street, S.W., Washington, D.C. (Smithsonian Metro Stop), has about 30 vendors selling fresh fruit, vegetables, prepared foods and other products.

USDA’s Agricultural Marketing Service manages the market and supports farmers markets in communities across the country through grants, research and technical assistance.  USDA Farmers Market accepts SNAP, WIC and Senior Farmers Market Nutrition Program (SFMNP) coupons.  The market also is a distributor of DC Produce Plus checks.
